Position Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to take a high-impact, strategic role in shaping AE’s product portfolio. You’ll own the full lifecycle of key product lines—defining strategy, understanding customer needs, and driving market success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AE product lines, shaping innovations from concept through launch and beyond.
  • Stay ahead of global market trends and connect directly with customers to uncover insights that drive meaningful solutions.
  • Define and deliver compelling product strategies—balancing customer value, competitive differentiation, and business performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to life, making smart tradeoffs to deliver high-quality, on-time solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to anticipate demand and ensure market success.
  • Contribute to broader business growth through strategic planning and the development of impactful marketing tools and resources.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders
  • Strong grounding in semiconductor manufacturing and translating technical insights into business value
  • Proven business and financial acumen to drive growth and sound decisions
  • Highly organized, with strong prioritization and execution skills
  • Skilled in market and competitive analysis to inform strategy and uncover opportunities

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in product management/marketing is essential.
  • Semiconductor, and/or other related industry experience highly preferred.
  • Product management/marketing, sales or field applications experience in a technology company preferred.

Education

  • B.S. in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering or Physics or related technical field.
  • Advanced degree, including M.S., Ph.D., or MBA, is highly desirable.

Compensation

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $160,000 to $200,000 per year.
