Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and research, to develop and execute product roadmaps that align with strategic objectives.
  • Provide input, alongside the Portfolio manager, to build the product roadmaps.
  • Work closely with data scientists, IT, and designers to ensure the development of robust AI solutions, maintaining technical rigor and introducing new methods for verifying success and identifying risks.
  • Focus on delivering exceptional user experiences by understanding and addressing user needs in AI applications.
  • Support the coordination of AI applications to drive improvements and innovations across Vernova.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to measure product performance and make informed decisions. Define and monitor metrics and KPIs to ensure the success and impact of AI initiatives.
  • Post-Launch Support: Monitor product performance post-launch, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance value delivery.
  • Oversee the integration of AI products coming from third-party software suppliers and determine the best technology fit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • PREFERRED: Business Acumen - Ability to integrate business strategy with technical initiatives.
  • LEADERSHIP: Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and occasionally C-Suite executives.
  • EXPERIENCE BUILDING AND DEPLOYING AI APPLICATIONS.
  • PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS: Analytical skills to identify and solve risks and challenges.
  • TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY AND DATA-DRIVEN MINDSET.

Qualifications

  • MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OUT OF AN OFFICE LOCATED IN NISKAYUNA, NY OR CAMBRIDGE, MA.
  • ELIGIBILITY: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
