Senior Product Manager - Ad Fraud and Identity Solutions
About the role
Ad Fraud is a pervasive threat on the Internet, and has been since programmatic advertising first started. However, the ways that Users and Consumers interact with the internet is changing, and the systems of the past to protect against fraud may no longer be optimal. You will own the product vision and roadmap for Cloudflare's next-gen IVT and Ad Fraud detection and data products for the advertising industry. You will help invent the future of how the industry looks at this space, and translate Cloudflare's massive network signals — bot scores, threat intelligence, traffic quality classifications — into data products that help advertisers, agencies, publishers, and verification vendors fight fraud and improve measurement accuracy. You will work at, and develop, the intersection of Cloudflare's security and performance platform and the ad tech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Help build out the strategy, vision, and design for IVT and bot data products in the advertising space.
- Be the domain expert. Deeply understand the IVT landscape, MRC accreditation standards, TAG certification requirements, and the programmatic advertising supply chain.
- Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned and have context.
- Work directly with some of the largest Enterprises in the world to build best-in-class solutions that solve real problems.
- Collaborate across teams. Work closely with Cloudflare's Bot Management, Threat Intelligence, Data, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Business Development teams.
- Cook up with external industry bodies (MRC, TAG, IAB Tech Lab).
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, with significant time spent in ad tech, ad measurement, or ad verification.
- Deep understanding of Invalid Traffic (IVT) — GIVT, SIVT, MRC guidelines, TAG Certified Against Fraud standards, and how IVT data flows through the programmatic ecosystem.
- Experience working with or building products for DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, verification vendors (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify, etc.), or measurement platforms.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, drive consensus, and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- Experience with MRC accreditation processes or TAG certification.
- Hands-on familiarity with ads.txt, sellers.json, SCO (Supply Chain Object), and IAB Tech Lab standards.
- Working knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, TCF) as they relate to ad measurement and data sharing.
- Experience with data licensing, data clean rooms, or privacy-preserving measurement approaches.
- Technical comfort with APIs, SQL, log analysis, and data pipeline concepts.
- Experience at a company that operated both a network/infrastructure platform and a data or advertising business.
- Pricing strategy and revenue forecasting experience for data products.
