Senior Product Manager 2

Nordstrom · Seattle, WA · Today
Hybrid$166k–$258k/yrFull-time

About the role

The Senior Product Manager 2 is a key member of the Nordstrom Inventory Product Management team, responsible for establishing and executing the strategic capability roadmap for OmniTrace, Nordstrom's AI-powered inventory intelligence platform, delivering anomaly detection, lifecycle traceability, real-time inventory visibility, and AI-driven insights across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the strategic product vision and roadmap for OmniTrace's AI-powered anomaly detection, lifecycle traceability, and real-time inventory visibility capabilities
  • Own the enterprise dashboard UI experience, giving business and operations teams a single, real-time view into enterprise inventory stock on hand, movement, and transaction lineage search
  • Lead product discovery and rapid prototyping — driving aligned MVP scope, delivery estimates, and prioritized execution across anomaly detection and inventory visibility domains
  • Own intake and use case definition, working with business partners to translate operational pain points into detection rules, decision trees, and recommended actions
  • Define the roadmap toward self-healing, autonomous anomaly resolution — progressing use cases from detection, to AI-assisted recommendation, to human-in-the-loop automation, to guardrailed auto-resolution
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Store Operations, Merchandising Operations, Accounting, and Finance to ground product requirements in operational and financial reality
  • Build business cases with finance and business partners that quantify shrink reduction, resolution time (MTTR) improvement, and labor savings from automation
  • Drive prioritization and alignment across cross-functional business and technology stakeholders, including engineering, data science, and operations
  • Define product requirements, process flows, data schemas, and system integration specifications in alignment with north star architecture
  • Define and measure KPIs for product features — detection accuracy, mean-time-to-resolution, automation/self-healing rate, search and dashboard adoption, and data freshness/latency — and support ongoing system health

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in product management, technology, or operations
  • Technical & Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of inventory management systems and AI/ML-driven anomaly detection concepts, including how detection models, confidence scoring, and automated recommendations are built and evaluated
  • Strategic Vision & Ambiguity: Ability to set a compelling product vision and multi-year roadmap toward autonomous, self-healing operations, and to thrive in ambiguity where requirements, ownership, and scope are still forming
  • Execution: Proven ability to lead discovery and delivery across multiple business capability teams in parallel, drive to an aligned MVP, and manage a prioritized backlog spanning UI, search, and system-to-system consumers
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to define, measure, and analyze processes and model performance to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize automation candidates
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive alignment across Supply Chain, Store Operations, Merchandising Operations, Accounting, Finance, and engineering — up to executive leadership
