Senior Product Engineer, Product Foundry

The Role

This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our dynamic team at Product Foundry. As a key member of the founding teams, you will be instrumental in driving innovation and scaling Replit's platform to new heights.

Responsibilities

• Helping Replit Agent build viable alternatives to the world’s most popular SaaS vendors (Data, Decks, Videos, etc)
• Building and operating platform systems that other teams depend on
• Ensuring the correctness and long-term maintainability of the codebase
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to lead complex projects
• Working on example projects such as Replit Agent becoming a full principal within a large number of third-party services (read and write)
• Operating in a modern web stack including TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Postgres

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Understanding of the full agentic software development stack
• Experience building and operating platform systems that other teams depend on
• Strong product judgment: balancing UX, speed, correctness, and long-term maintainability
• Experience working in modern web stacks including TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Postgres

Qualifications

• Technical company founding entrepreneurial or high visibility side projects experience preferred but not required
• Understanding of the full agentic software development stack, helping coding agents build, test, and review correct code
• Strong track record leading complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders
