Senior Product Engineer

Overview

At Kinelo, we are reimagining organizational structures and collaboration between humans and AI. We are developing a context layer that integrates existing tools and enables AI agents to reason and act upon persistent data. This role involves collaborating with AI agents and coworkers to develop software solutions that meet real user needs.

About the role

This is a technical role for software engineers who will leverage AI to focus on higher-level technical architecture, product requirements, and user needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive software experience, a deep understanding of system design and software architecture, and the ability to identify and mitigate potential issues.

Responsibilities

• Prototype new multimodal agent interactions
• Review and analyze PRs from both human and AI contributors
• Develop synthetic data generation mechanisms
• Contribute to discussions on the future of user interfaces
• Diagnose and resolve scaling issues in Kinelo’s data ingestion system
• Prepare presentations for industry conferences

Requirements

• At least six years of professional software development experience
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages, including statically typed languages
• Understanding of fundamental computer science principles
• Experience with databases, data ingestion, containerization, and other foundational software components

Qualifications

• Awareness of the current state of agentic coding and its underlying principles
• Experience with system design and software architecture, with a track record of identifying and mitigating issues
• Able to wear multiple hats and adapt to unconventional approaches
• Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, willing to embrace it as an opportunity

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, and related technologies
