About the role

Jill, our AI Recruiter, is recruiting for this Senior Product Engineer position on behalf of a Seed-stage PropTech startup founded by MIT alumni with $1M ARR.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture for an AI-powered operating system for commercial real estate.
• Build full-stack features using Python and TypeScript.
• Design complex data pipelines using orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow.
• Develop real-time collaborative tools that enable brokers and investors to manage billions in physical assets efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and shipping full-stack applications with heavy data model manipulation in Python, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Technical expertise in building data pipelines, handling geospatial data (PostGIS/GeoJSON), and optimizing complex queries for speed.
• A craftsperson's mindset with a history of driving technical strategy at early-stage startups or as a former founder.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Experience with data pipeline technologies such as Dagster or Airflow.
