Senior Product Development Manager (Steiner)

Responsibilities

• Leadership role in managing the stage-gate innovation and development process as it relates to product development and project management.
• Lead technical product development in connection with strategic sourcing and supplier resources.
• Forecast business needs based on experience, research, and feedback from the Sales department.
• Deliver products on time and on budget according to design and the strategic plan for the company.
• Support sales efforts and work with current and potential customers to grow the business on a continuous basis.
• Manage brand equity and value proposition, familiarity with the creation of branding and company style guides.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline required.
• Certified Project Manager preferred.
• Experience with building and utilizing Gantt charts to manage project timelines.
• Experience with overseas suppliers.
• Must be flexible in managing constantly changing priorities and dealing comfortably with ambiguity.
• Product development experience in glove and garment personal protective equipment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with broad based cross-functional teams.
• Able to communicate ideas and concepts to create new products.
• A self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing.
• Strong consumer focus.
• Able to monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
• Build and maintain relationships effectively across multiple business groups.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.

Pay

Steiner Industries, a division of Bunzl, is offering a salary range of $110K-$125K based on experience, education, and geographic location.
