What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end design across native mobile applications.
- Define interaction patterns and visual design standards for mobile products.
- Help evolve and maintain the mobile design system.
- Design intuitive, scalable experiences that balance user needs with business goals.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering and User Research throughout the design process.
- Use research and customer insights to inform design decisions.
- Help shape the future visual direction of the mobile product.
- Design experiences for an international user base across multiple markets.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience designing native iOS and/or Android applications.
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX, interaction and visual design skills.
- Experience leading mobile product design within cross-functional product teams.
- A strong understanding of platform-specific design patterns and best practices.
- Experience designing consumer-facing products, ideally within marketplace, commerce or B2B2C environments.
- Experience with design systems and creating visually polished user interfaces.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain and influence design decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and interactive prototyping.
- Experience within marketplace, crowdfunding, ecommerce or other two-sided platform businesses would be highly beneficial.
- Exposure to cross-platform technologies such as React Native is advantageous but not essential—strong native mobile design experience is the priority.
