Senior Product Designer II

The Coca-Cola Company · Atlanta, GA · 1 wk ago
Full-time

We are building an in-house product design practice from the ground up, embedded inside cross-functional product teams that have real ownership and a mandate to change how digital experiences work at one of the world's most recognized brands. This role is at the center of Coca-Cola's full digital transformation, shaping modern, seamless user experiences that drive business impact and set the global standard for our digital approach.

About the role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own experience design across a portion of our business, identifying and driving meaningful changes alongside your product partners. You will work on everything from consumer-facing journeys to the internal tools that power sales, service, and operations. This is not a role defined by executional handoffs—you will be involved in discovery, shaping what gets built, and accountable for quality through delivery into live experiences that help customers and our business grow.

What You Will Work On

  • Customer-facing digital experiences that span our North America brand portfolio
  • Sales and service workflows used by teams serving retail and foodservice partners
  • Operational tools and platforms that connect the business end to end
  • Emerging AI-enabled experiences as we integrate intelligent systems into our products

Problem spaces vary, but the expectation is consistent: you will design for real users, work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to ship experiences that matter.

Responsibilities

Product Design and Craft

  • Lead design for a product area or journey, from discovery through delivery and iteration
  • Translate user needs and business context into clear UX vision, using interaction models, flows, and high-fidelity designs
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished visuals that communicate ideas and drive alignment

Discovery and Iteration

  • Contribute to discovery through research synthesis, journey mapping, and rapid prototyping
  • Work with UX Research to drive user research and testing sessions to validate assumptions and refine solutions
  • Use data and qualitative insight together to inform design decisions and prioritization

Experience Quality and Systems

  • Design end-to-end experiences that consider the full journey across digital and service touchpoints
  • Apply and help build shared design systems, patterns, and accessibility standards
  • Hold a high bar for quality, consistency, usability, and craft across everything you ship

Collaboration and Delivery

  • Partner with engineering to support quality implementation and iteration post-launch
  • Communicate design intent, rationale, and tradeoffs clearly to cross-functional partners
  • Engage in critique and feedback to raise the quality of the team's work collectively

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of UX, product design, or interaction design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to clearly articulate tradeoffs of tools or stages of design, particularly the use of AI within your design process
  • A portfolio showing shipped digital experiences that solved real problems and delivered business impact
  • Strong artifacts and case studies demonstrating skill maturity in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design for web and mobile
  • Proficiency in Figma and Figma MCP x Claude Code for design and prototyping
  • Solid grounding in user-centered design, usability principles, and accessibility standards
  • Ability to operate effectively in empowered, cross-functional teams where you own your problem space
  • Experience designing complex workflows, operational tools, or data-rich products
  • Background in enterprise or ecosystem products that span multiple user roles or touchpoints, especially call center applications
  • Exposure to AI-enabled or intelligent systems, including agentic or generative experiences
  • Experience contributing to or building design systems and shared experience frameworks

Skills

  • Collaborative Product Thinking: Connect user needs, business context, and technical constraints into a clear experience direction. Grasp tradeoffs between usability, feasibility, and time to value.
  • Design Craft: Apply taste and skills to produce intuitive, accessible interaction and visual design with attention to detail and quality.
  • AI-forward processes / Builder-Mindset: Explore, concept, and test ideas quickly to build conviction. Use Figma MCP and Claude Code to iterate and refine ideas into concrete, holistic approaches.
  • Systems Thinking: Design for coherence across journeys, platforms, and touchpoints, not just individual screens.
  • Storytelling and Communication: Work effectively across disciplines and communicate design intent with clarity.

Location

This role is based at Coca-Cola's global headquarters in Atlanta, GA. We work a hybrid schedule of three days per week in office, designed to support a collaborative, in-person design culture. Relocation assistance is available for candidates open to moving to Atlanta.

Coca-Cola will not offer sponsorship for employment-based nonimmigrant visas (e.g., H1-B) for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Pay

Base pay range: $171,000 – $198,000 USD, depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits is offered. Annual incentive reference value is 30% of base pay, representing a market-based competitive target for performance at the midpoint of the range.
