You bring together creative expertise, user-centered thinking, and a working knowledge of AI capabilities to deliver elegant, scalable, and accessible experiences. You collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our products align with user needs and business goals, and you actively contribute to evolving our design system, processes, and culture. You are highly skilled at customer research, navigating ambiguity, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You build strong partnerships across product, engineering, and research, and you know how to use AI thoughtfully: to accelerate your practice, sharpen your output, and ship better experiences for users who depend on them. What You Do Each Day Translate product strategy into elegant, user-centered design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visualsCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and ship high-quality experiencesConduct and synthesize user research and usability testing to validate decisions and uncover new insightsBring sharp judgment to every AI decision, evaluating where it genuinely adds value for our customers, pushing back when it doesn't, and carrying that perspective into discovery, prioritization, and design.Design AI-assisted experiences with care, accounting for error states, confidence signals, transparency, and feedback loops, and hold a clear quality bar for every AI interaction we ship.Drive continuous improvement by refining design processes, tools, and team ritualsBalance user needs with business goals to prioritize impactful design workPresent and communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional partners and leadershipFoster a culture of collaboration, feedback, and inclusivity within the design team Qualifications 6+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related fieldStrong portfolio demonstrating experience designing complex digital products across platformsProficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (i.e. Figma, Claude code)Experience working with and evolving design systems at scaleDeep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and interaction design best practicesExperience collaborating in agile product teamsDemonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputsBachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent work experience What Will Help You Succeed Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a growth mindsetExcellent communication and storytelling ability to advocate for designHigh emotional intelligence and a passion for supporting othersAbility to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic thinking with tactical executionCuriosity for how people think, behave, and interact with technologyExceptional breadth of interest shown through tangible, self-initiated ventures or deep community involvement; you love trying new things and may possess a demonstrated history of successfully pivoting or starting over in life and wor This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $130,000 - $142,000 + equity. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
