Senior Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end design projects for new and improved consumer products that increase clarity and user agency in decentralized finance and web3
• Tackle complex challenges in emerging technology by inventing new mental models and designing cutting-edge interactions with minimal oversight
• Use a human-centered approach that incorporates qualitative and quantitative data to create conceptual wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Effectively collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and research partners to influence product strategy and roadmap
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a unified design system that increases the velocity and consistency of the frontend engineering team
• Mentor junior designers and help define best practices through feedback, documentation, and team crit
• Contribute to the broader design culture through writing, presentations, and external community engagement

Requirements

• 5 years of product design experience, including research, prototyping, and implementation of user-facing applications
• With some experience in FinTech or adjacent industries through relevant design work
• Demonstrated experience working with component libraries or design systems
• A strong desire to design within the context of web3/blockchain/decentralized finance
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Framer, or equivalent
• Excellent visual design and interaction design skills, with a strong portfolio that reflects independent project ownership and high-quality execution
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the web3/Ethereum ecosystem (wallets, tokens, transactions etc.)
• High fidelity prototyping experience
• Regular use of AI in design and prototyping workflows
• Love for unicorns :)

Pay

Minimum full-time salary of $172,000 - $215,000.
