Senior Product Designer
About the role
The Senior Product Designer on the Growth pod will own the design of key growth surfaces across the customer lifecycle. This includes working closely with Growth Product Managers to identify areas of friction, run design experiments, and improve conversion, retention, and revenue.
You will design growth loops and lifecycle experiences such as referral mechanics, pricing and packaging surfaces, and features that compound usage across both sides of the marketplace. You will balance multiple workstreams and know when to go deep on craft versus move fast and ship.
Additionally, you will contribute to and maintain Nivoda’s design system, ensuring consistency and quality across the pod and raising the bar for design coherence across the product. You will also run lightweight user research, communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders, and mentor more junior designers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience
- Proven experience designing for complex, data-dense or catalogue-heavy products
- Equally fluent in UX and UI
- Experience shipping fast in close collaboration with engineers
- Experience running or contributing to user research
- Proficiency in Figma
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Based in or willing to commute to Boston regularly for in-person collaboration
Skills
- Experience designing growth surfaces
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools
- Experience using AI-assisted design tools
