About the role

We drive intelligent growth for ambitious businesses and leading brands. Customer understanding is more potent and drives greater value when insights go to work directly within marketing and experience priorities. To give our clients that advantage, we put an insights-driven operating system at the core of our design, go-to-market and digital experience solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Advance AI-Integrated Design: Embrace the influence of AI on modern design workflows. You will help drive the imagination and curation of what is possible, implementing new interaction models, automation, and personalization capabilities across client products.
  • Lead with a Strong POV: Maintain a strong point of view on what you are designing—its purpose, the users, why it matters—and convincingly communicate that narrative to clients and internal teams.
  • Protect Design Intent: Act as the product design lead throughout development, working closely with developers in dual-track agile sprints to make critical decisions without compromising design intent.
  • Document and Scale: Build and maintain pattern libraries, visual design systems, and brand guidelines as companion pieces to the code.
  • Champion Client Goals: Keep client, customer, and product goals at the forefront of your work, deepening trust by anticipating concerns and proactively addressing project risks.
  • Foster Collaboration: Work across boundaries to connect teams and stakeholders (across research, brand, strategy, and engineering), ensuring a coherent output rather than a stack of deliverables.
  • Build, scale and/or maintain Design Language Systems: The majority of our PD work requires deep experience in DLS work. You will need comfort building a DLS from scratch and evolving existing one, partnering with dev teams to build components.
  • Passion and Experience building for Accessibility and Various levels of compliance. Most of our work requires AA compliance but we look for candidates that understand AAA and are comfortable supporting a UXR to test for compliance and equally comfortable building compliance into a DLS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience in product design, experience design, or a related field.
  • A strong product design portfolio showing problem-solving acumen with previous work samples (workshops, workflows, sprint plans, user testing, wireframes, comps, prototypes).
  • Capable of working independently with little supervision, maintaining high standards for execution while balancing competing demands across multiple priorities.
  • Deeply curious about AI, human behavior, and emerging technologies. You possess a functioning baseline or hands-on experience integrating AI features into digital products and experiences.
  • Proven and repeated success record of planning, facilitating, and leading design sprints and co-creation workshops.
  • Deep understand of OS-specific guidelines (Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Android's Material Design) and a functioning, applied knowledge of accessibility principles.
  • Comfortable with standard tools like Figma and Miro, alongside an experience with ecommerce, purchase paths, transactional product design, and iterative prototype testing.
  • Minded toward business outcomes; you recognize how day-to-day design and resource choices affect project cost, margins, and financial performance.
