Senior Product Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team at MaintainX. This role will be part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, which aims to unify design, make, and operate into a continuous lifecycle. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional craft with deep product thinking to shape the next generation of MaintainX’s AI-first product experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for complex product surfaces across web and mobile, from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery.
• Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers, making workflows simpler and smarter without adding complexity.
• Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
• Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality and accessibility across the product lifecycle.
• Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• Experience designing for AI and data-rich experiences.
• A systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers.

Qualifications

• Expert level of English, both spoken and written, is required.

Skills

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience with design systems and handoff practices.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
• Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and standards.
