Senior Product Designer

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines exceptional craft with deep product thinking to help shape the next generation of MaintainX’s AI-first product experience. You'll lead design across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research through prototyping and polished UI, for both web and mobile.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for complex product surfaces across web and mobile, from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery.
• Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers, making workflows simpler and smarter without adding complexity.
• Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
• Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality and accessibility across the product lifecycle.
• Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion with strong design system and handoff practices.
• Experience designing for AI and data-rich experiences.
• You're a systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful designs that drive business outcomes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design for complex systems and user needs.

Skills

• Strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with UX/UI design methodologies and processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
