HybridArt & Creative$110k–$130k/yrFull-time

At Fabric Health, we are powering boundless care by solving healthcare’s biggest challenge: clinical capacity. We unify the care journey from intake to treatment, using intelligent automation to remove administrative burdens and make care delivery 2-10x more efficient. Our technology empowers clinicians to move faster and focus on what matters most: the patient. We are a mission-driven team trusted by leading organizations including Intermountain Health, OSF HealthCare, SSM Health, and MUSC Health, and backed by premier investors such as Thrive Capital, GV (Google Ventures), General Catalyst, and Salesforce Ventures.

About The Role

Fabric is rebuilding how people access and navigate healthcare. We are looking for a Product Designer to shape the experience our users rely on when it matters most, from their first interaction with Fabric through the care journeys they return to again and again. You will be the design partner for the member side of our product, working with product, engineering, and clinical teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into experiences that feel intuitive and easy-to-use. This is a senior-level role with broad design ownership, where you will take on significant scope as the design partner for key areas of the member journey.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of key parts of the member experience: marketing site, signup and onboarding, member portal, in-product flows.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and clinical SMEs to translate complex care workflows into intuitive user experiences.
  • Conduct user research where it matters and bring evidence to design decisions.
  • Facilitate design workshops and alignment sessions to drive product strategy and scope definition.
  • Build and maintain the components and patterns that scale across the member experience—and contribute to our Design System.
  • Run design reviews. Give and receive feedback that makes the work stronger.
  • Partner with brand and marketing on the consumer expression of Fabric across acquisition channels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience with shipped consumer-facing work.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design: flows, components, interactions, and visual quality.
  • Hands-on experience contributing to a design system, building and maintaining components, documenting patterns, and thinking about scale.
  • Mastery of Figma and modern design tooling, including AI-powered features.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Figma Make and Claude to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and documentation.
  • Strong communicator who can present work to engineers, PMs, and executives.
  • Conducts user research independently (e.g., interviews, usability tests, and concept validation), and uses findings to drive design decisions.
  • Product design experience with shipped consumer-facing work.
  • Strong product thinking. You do not just make things look right, you make them work right.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. You can move from problem to wireframe to prototype to ship.
  • You don’t wait for requirements; you actively shape them through collaborative planning.
  • Curious about healthcare and willing to learn the domain deeply.

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare, fintech, or other regulated consumer experience.
  • Mobile design depth (iOS / Android patterns).
  • Design system contribution or ownership.
  • Front-end implementation familiarity, including using AI coding tools to prototype in code.
  • Brand and marketing design experience.

Pay

The national pay range for this role is $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as the candidate's geographic market, experience, skills, and qualifications. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, including a comprehensive benefits package such as medical, dental, vision, unlimited PTO, and a 401(k) plan, stock options and bonuses.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Stock options and bonuses.
