Senior Product Designer
About The Role
Own end-to-end product design across core consumer experiences from discovery and concepting through high-fidelity execution and launch. Design beautiful, intuitive, consumer-grade mobile experiences used daily by a highly engaged subscriber base. Act as a strategic thought partner to Product and Engineering while remaining deeply hands-on in Figma. Translate ambiguous product opportunities into clear UX direction, visual hierarchy, and interaction models. Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect, production-quality implementation. Influence broader design systems, brand evolution, and product cohesion as the product scales into new surfaces (nutrition, community, Android, international). Operate as a senior IC-first leader in a lean, high-ownership environment with minimal bureaucracy.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally at consumer-facing, subscription-based mobile apps
- Proven ability to ship high-craft iOS experiences that drive real user engagement and retention
- Strong portfolio demonstrating taste, clarity, simplicity, and practical UX judgment
- Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-agency environments with limited process overhead
- Comfortable owning large problem spaces and making decisions with incomplete information
- Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers and Engineers
- Passion for staying hands-on—this is not a people-management role
