- Break down complex user problems and develop intuitive solutions.
- Consult with engineers on layout, typography, flows, and other design elements.
- Write detailed specifications and present proposals to stakeholders.
- Take ownership of larger product features, including Jobs-To-Be-Done, navigation, information architecture, layout, interaction, and more.

Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience in desktop SaaS.
- Able to think from first principles and break down complex user problems.
- Enough experience to solve many usability problems without relying solely on data and metrics or conducting user research.

- Strong skills in layout, navigation, IA, UI, and interaction design.
- Strong visual design skills and a passion for craft and details.
Qualifications
- Experience at an early-stage startup or spending time as a solo designer on a team is a plus.
- You are excited about creating leverage and impact far beyond what you’d see in a typical EPD product team structure.
- You enjoy working on a wide range of design challenges and helping reinvent the design model for modern enterprise software.
- You are comfortable designing independently and challenging your decisions and process.
Skills
- Ability to consult with engineers on layout, typography, flows, and other design elements.
