Senior Product Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Take proactive ownership of Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) activities from conception through execution.
• Establish and execute a unified component/system-level validation strategy across sensors, antennas, and compute platforms.
• Drive strong collaboration across engineering, lab, and program teams to align validation plans with schedules and resources.
• Track validation failures and utilize technical expertise to influence and drive effective closure of issues.
• Plan and oversee validation across simulation, lab, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), environmental, and field testing.
• Review validation results for accuracy, provide technical risk assessments, and support product release decisions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related).
• Proven experience developing and executing DVP&R plans within electronic product development.
• Strong background tracking non-conformances and influencing the closure of validation failures.
• Deep knowledge of validation methods, reliability engineering, and risk-based frameworks (FMEA).
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional engineering and lab teams.

Preferred Experience

• With IMUs, MEMS sensors, RF/antennas, or compute platforms.
• Experience supporting machine guidance and positioning products.
• Background in off-highway equipment, agricultural machinery, or automotive systems.
• Hands-on experience with environmental, durability, or reliability lab testing.
