About the role

The Senior Product Designer for Admin Experiences at ezCater is central to how companies manage food at work. You'll shape admin experiences for meal programs and enterprise catering, working closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Research, and Analytics to ensure admin needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the end-to-end admin experience by designing across a complex, multi-product ecosystem.
  • Define and refine problem spaces with Product and Ops partners, focusing on clear admin, decision-maker, and business outcomes.
  • Help set the roadmap, not just execute it, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Data to align priorities with admin needs, business health, and scaling food programs.
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, Support, and Research to understand enterprise procurement, program administration, and organizational complexity.
  • Design for multiple personas including decision-makers, billing leads, program admins, and corporate orderers, ensuring handoffs feel intentional.
  • Raise the bar on interaction, systems, and visual design by crafting user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes, advocating for a robust design system.
  • Use data and experimentation to guide iteration, collaborating with Analytics and Product to define metrics, design experiments, and interpret results.
  • Facilitate alignment across disciplines and teams by running workshops, critique sessions, and working sessions that help teams frame problems, explore options, and converge on impactful solutions.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to move faster across the design process and help elevate the team’s adoption of these tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role, with accompanying experience in visual/graphic design.
  • Experience designing for complex, multi-step journeys, ideally in areas like admin tools, dashboards, or multi-sided marketplaces.
  • A track record of shaping what teams work on, not just how it looks – helping teams move from shipping tickets to solving clearly framed problems with measurable outcomes.
  • Comfortable working closely with non-engineering partners like Sales, Account Management, and Support, and translating their frontline context into product strategy and design decisions.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback, as well as regularly seeking feedback on your own performance.
  • Proficiency with the Figma suite, Claude design, and prototyping tools.
  • Experience designing with and contributing to a robust design system.

Qualifications

  • A detailed portfolio showcasing how you've tackled complicated, multi-stakeholder problems, your process moving from discovery through launch and iteration, and the customer and business impact of your work (ideally including activation, retention, or operational improvements).
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills that allow you to explain complex flows and tradeoffs in ways that resonate with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Well-developed collaboration and facilitation skills, thoughtful about how teams work together as much as you are about the pixels.
  • A sharp mind, a soft heart, and a large funny bone.
  • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for Together Weeks, team gatherings and other events, when applicable.

Benefits

Market competitive salary, stock options, 12 paid holidays, flexible PTO, 401K with ezCater match, health/dental/FSA, long-term disability insurance, mental health and family planning resources, remote-hybrid work from our awesome Boston office OR your home OR a mixture of both home and office, a tremendous amount of responsibility and autonomy, wicked awesome co-workers, employee meal program (and many more goodies) when you're in our office.
