About the role
The Senior Product Designer For Admin Experiences at ezCater will shape the end-to-end admin experience, focusing on meal programs and enterprise catering. They will work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Research, and Analytics to design intuitive admin experiences and build the necessary tools for enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Shape the end-to-end admin experience by designing across a complex, multi-product ecosystem, ensuring coherence rather than disjointedness.
- Define and refine problem spaces with Product and Ops partners, framing work around clear admin, decision-maker, and business outcomes.
- Help set the roadmap, not just execute it, by partnering with Product, Engineering, and Data to ground priorities in admin needs, business health, and scaling food programs.
- Lead discovery grounded in how businesses actually buy and manage food, partnering with Sales, Account Management, Support, and Research to understand procurement, program administration, and organizational complexity.
- Design for multiple personas including decision-makers, billing leads, program admins, and corporate orderers, ensuring handoffs between roles and surfaces feel intentional.
- Raise the bar on interaction, systems, and visual design by crafting user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes, and contribute to and advocate for the design system.
- Use data and experimentation to guide iteration, collaborating with Analytics and Product to define metrics, design experiments, and interpret results.
- Facilitate alignment across disciplines and teams by running workshops, critique sessions, and working sessions that help teams frame problems, explore options, and converge on impactful solutions.
- Bring partners along with clear storytelling and artifacts, using AI-powered tools to move faster across the design process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role, with accompanying experience in visual/graphic design.
- Experience designing for complex, multi-step journeys, ideally in areas like admin tools, dashboards, or multi-sided marketplaces.
- Comfortable working closely with non-engineering partners like Sales, Account Management, and Support, and translating their frontline context into product strategy and design decisions.
- Positive attitude and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback, as well as regularly seeking feedback on your own performance.
- Proficiency with the Figma suite, Claude design, and prototyping tools.
- Experience designing with and contributing to a robust design system.
- A detailed portfolio showcasing how you’ve tackled complicated, multi-stakeholder problems, your process moving from discovery through launch and iteration, and the customer and business impact of your work.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills that show you can explain complex flows and tradeoffs in ways that resonate with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Well-developed collaboration and facilitation skills.
Qualifications
- Experience designing for B2B admin personas such as procurement leads, finance admins, IT or HR decision-makers, or account managers.
- Experience in the restaurant, catering, delivery, or gig space.
- Experience designing onboarding flows, activation experiences, or product-led growth motions.
- Experience with service design, journey mapping, or complex operational workflows that cross multiple teams and tools.
- Experience working in experimentation-heavy environments (e.g., A/B testing, incremental UX improvements guided by data).
- Familiarity with approaches like Jobs To Be Done, systems thinking, or other frameworks for structuring complex problem spaces.
