About the role

NetApp Senior Product Architect (Subscription Mgmt. & Q2O) works as part of a team that supports and enhances NetApp’s global business processes and systems. They utilize strong technical competencies and functional business expertise to identify, evaluate, design, and develop systems and procedures that meet business user requirements. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and IT development to provide automated solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Enterprise Architects & Product Managers on the multi-year Service Strategy and Target State Architecture
  • Collaborate with business users to define processes, influence and drive cross-functional initiatives and enhancements in the Quote-to-Order domain
  • Translate business requirements into solution designs, which may include conceptual, logical, and physical views of the architecture
  • Develop solution architecture requirements, both functional and non-functional, for both SaaS applications and bespoke solutions development
  • Lead solutions architecture to create standardized design artifacts in alignment with EA domain guidelines and standards; provide feedback to EA to improve domain guidelines and standards
  • Lead the review of the solution with internal and external stakeholders, including Systems Architect, Delivery teams, and Enterprise Architecture Review Board
  • Drive Proof of Concepts (POCs), conduct gap analyses, feasibility assessments, solution evaluations, and selection of software products and solutions (including market intelligence)

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Subscription & Billing Management along with extensive knowledge of key Quote-to-Order capabilities such as Quote Management, Renewals, Pricing & Discounts, and Order Orchestration
  • Experience working with major Q2O platforms such as Oracle CPQ Cloud, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle, Zuora, or SAP BRIM Subscription Management
  • Contributing to domain-level roadmap planning and platform evolution while balancing short-term delivery priorities with long-term architectural goals
  • Working experience with B2B to automate quote to order processes
  • Strong business partnership experience required, with proven track record of successfully driving cross-functional initiatives and projects
  • Ability to present ideas, design, and solutions to business and IT stakeholders
  • Perform feasibility studies, functional/technical gap analysis, and map business requirements to solution design
  • Identify and recommend industry best practices to address business requirements
  • Review and analyze business requirements to drive alignment across Product, Sales Ops, Finance, Order Management, and Engineering teams
  • Influence decision-making across multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and solution approvals with cross-functional teams
  • Good understanding of new product introduction (NPI) and product release processes
  • Good functional and technical knowledge of Quoting, Pricing, Configuration, and Order Management
  • Experience with e-Commerce such as Oracle Commerce Cloud is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative without a lot of direction
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical decision-making skills
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required, in Information Technology or a related field
  • At least 12-14 years of information technology experience, with at least 8-10 years mainly in the Quote-to-Order Domain

Pay

The target salary range for this position is $147,900 - $220,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range.

Schedule

Most roles at NetApp will have some level of in-office and/or in-person expectations, which will be shared during the recruitment process.
