About the role

Join our world-class Security Technology Group, driving the future of Bot and Abuse Protection. We help thousands of enterprises globally to protect their websites and secure their transactions over the Internet.

Responsibilities

  • Create end-to-end architecture and high-level designs for new security products and features.
  • Span configuration, reporting, and runtime aspects of the system, including data analytics and attack detection.
  • Work on different problem statements and dive deep to understand and address complex security pain points.
  • Translate requirements into bold architecture.
  • Collaborate with product management to understand and finalize the requirements so they fit our technology and bring value to our customers.
  • Define the end-to-end architecture and the set of functionality required in new or existing products and systems to realize the requirements.
  • Collaborate with other organizations to realize the non-functional needs such as security, availability, and scalability.
  • Present the designs for review.
  • Guide the engineering teams as they work on the detailed designs and implementation.
  • Acquire and share expertise in security products and industry while contributing to their future vision and technical roadmap.

Requirements

  • 12 years of relevant software experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Experience designing large-scale, low-latency, web-based distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of big data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and/or the appropriate use of AI in software solutions.
  • A big picture and end-to-end vision when designing new features and thoroughly understanding SDLC and web technologies.
  • Good interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting ideas, and able to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and imperfect information well.
  • Passion for building features that will be usable for our customers and help solve their problems.
  • Proactivity in researching systems and issues, documenting solutions thoroughly, and an interest in learning new technologies.

Pay

For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $169,300 - $304,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
