About the role

The Senior Producer works directly with the Senior Lead Producer on the strategy, planning, and deployment of messaging initiatives—including email, in-app, and push notifications—to support clients' objectives. This role stewards messaging programs, ensuring creative work is thoughtfully planned, expertly executed, and delivered with high quality. The Senior Producer serves as the primary point of contact between clients, creative teams, and external partners, ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged and projects move smoothly from briefing through production to final delivery. The role requires flexibility, early risk identification, and the ability to anticipate downstream implications of changes while navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from briefing through production and final delivery
  • Oversee complex creative workflows by prioritizing tasks and monitoring progress across design, copy, and localization teams
  • Ensure alignment between strategy, client expectations, and production execution throughout every phase of the project
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including production schedules, status reports, and briefing materials across Airtable, Figma, and copy documentation
  • Foster over-communication by recapping conversations, documenting decisions, following up on action items, and ensuring stakeholders are informed of updates in a timely manner
  • Identify production risks, delays, and dependencies early; develop proactive solutions and flag blockers before they impact delivery
  • Anticipate the downstream implications of changes to scope, timelines, priorities, or requirements and adjust project plans accordingly
  • Conduct rigorous QC/QA reviews to ensure deliverables meet creative standards, technical specifications, and brand voice guidelines
  • Demonstrate exceptional meeting preparedness by coming equipped with clear objectives, relevant context, and actionable next steps
  • Manage internal teams and external partners to maximize efficiency, resolve challenges, and ensure all commitments are met on schedule
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and creative partners through clear communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through

Requirements

  • 4+ years managing creative, copy, or digital projects
  • Experience managing copy development or copy production workflows
  • Familiarity with basic design principles and comfort making minor design adjustments when needed
  • Experience with advanced Airtable functions, including formulas, automations, syncs, and other workflow capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to connect the dots across teams, identify what matters most, and simplify complex issues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment with shifting priorities
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and strong judgment, particularly in ambiguous situations
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop practical paths forward
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a clear view of the bigger picture
  • Must be based in Los Angeles

Pay

Freelance rate: $450–$500 per day. Full-time salary: $105,000–$115,000.
