Senior Procurement Operations Analyst
About the role
The Senior Procurement Analyst – External Manufacturing supports the development, execution, and governance of procurement strategies for external manufacturing partners, including co‑manufacturers and repackers. The role provides analytical horsepower, financial insight, and decision support across sourcing, supplier performance, productivity, and risk management. This position sits within Procurement and operates at the intersection of data, finance, and external manufacturing strategy, partnering closely with Sourcing Managers, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, Quality, and Commercial teams. The role is designed for a high‑potential individual who can translate complex data into clear insights that enable better sourcing decisions and stronger supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain analytical models to support sourcing strategies, make‑vs‑buy evaluations, and capacity decisions.
- Build scenarios comparing cost, service, risk, and productivity tradeoffs across external manufacturing options.
- Provide rapid, decision‑ready analysis to support live sourcing events, negotiations, and urgent business needs.
- Prepare fact‑based recommendations and executive‑ready materials to support sourcing and leadership decisions.
- Support conversion cost modeling, total cost of ownership analyses, and margin impact assessments.
- Track productivity initiatives, savings delivery, and financial benefits in partnership with Finance and Sourcing Managers.
- Support AOP, forecast, and variance analysis related to external manufacturing spend and performance.
