What You Will Do

  • Have a bias for action and are both deadline and results driven.
  • Create spreadsheets for complex SW proposal comparison, create business cases including ROI analysis, and develop executive level presentations.
  • Safeguard critical software provider contracts by sourcing, negotiating, and implementing them at the lowest total cost to CLEAResult.
  • Manage the strategic supplier software renewal cycle using a 12-month time fence for planning, quoting, negotiating, contract creation, and implementation.
  • Partner with IT in establishing a Software Steering Committee to vet new suppliers and standardize enterprise usage of IT's preferred vendors.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure supplier performance standards are met.
  • Incorporate internally agreed-upon KPIs and SLAs into supplier contracts.
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
  • Create preferred vendors per software category and establish Short and Long Term Commodity strategies.
  • Mentor Procurement team members in areas of RFx creation, contract review, negotiations, and Procurement Best Practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience working in IT operations.
  • Negotiation experience with large, complex renewals with SW providers such as Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to create and implement standard processes and policies.
  • Flexibility to navigate current state company operating procedures and collaboratively propose, plan, and execute future state.
  • Project management experience desired.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of levers available to deliver best possible price for new software.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.

Target Compensation

$130,000 - $140,000 + Bonus

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
