Senior Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of Relationship Management expertise.
• Manages and provides leadership to team(s), ensuring the principles, structures, tools/capabilities, and responsibilities are in place to deliver plans and excellence.
• Due Diligence and Company/Market Understanding.
• Value-creating processes, Performance, and Commercial Activity.
• Plan Development and Implementation including embedding, monitoring, and delivering via others.
• Delivers on objectives in challenging situations on time.
• Provides performance management, talent development, and coaching.
• Develops and maintains internal and external relationships.
• Manages and influences key/senior stakeholders.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant professional procurement qualification such as CIPS Level 5/6 or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in procurement, category management, supplier relationship management, and commercial leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and contract management expertise.
• Experience influencing and managing executive-level and senior stakeholders.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams, developing talent, and driving high performance.
• Strong relationship management skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement and category strategies that deliver measurable business value.
• In-depth understanding of construction, consultancy, infrastructure, or related industry sectors.
• Experience conducting market analysis, supplier due diligence, and commercial assessments.
