Senior Procurement Engineer, Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic supply network development and cost management for product hardware throughout its lifecycle.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
• Conduct supplier selection, develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs, and manage CAPEX during NPI.
• Optimize supply chain lead times through value-stream mapping.
• Perform BOM risk assessments and ensure component qualifications.
• Reduce complexity via component and supplier rationalization.
• Lead cost engineering activities to align product costs with total cost of ownership.
• Manage ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs and inflation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
• 5+ years experience in sourcing, supplier engagement, or electronics/mechanical design.
• Domain expertise in procurement engineering and TCO analysis.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, relocate if necessary, and obtain/maintain U.S. TS clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees.
• Experience in high-regulation environments (e.g., energetics, solid rocket motors).
• Supplier development experience.
• Experience working in high-mix, low-volume settings.
