Senior Procurement Buyer

Responsibilities

• Projects support, with heavy emphasis on PO placement and hardware fulfillment.
• Supporting IPT when it comes to Advance Tech NPI Programs.
• Executing > 95% on-time to the product/program families' cost and schedule with Honeywell Milestone Reporting (HMR) accountability for Category 1 - Category 3 milestones.
• Working on product family level NPI sourcing strategy improvement initiatives to drive development speed.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE: Requires SAP experience in RFQ, negotiation, buying/procurement and hardware fulfillment: 2-3 years.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in engaging with suppliers at executive levels and Honeywell Aerospace leadership.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to make strategic decisions in such an environment.
• Knowledge, skill, and experience with wide range of industry standard manufacturing processes for mechanical components.
• Financial acumen, understanding business metrics, and ability to impact results through NPV, IRR, next best alternative analysis.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments.
• Broad experience in operational procurement.
• Able to resolve problems, transition, and transform sourcing activities.
