About the role

Lead Dematic’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by combining strategic, operational, and financial plans into a unified business framework. Work closely with senior leaders in sales, supply chain, finance, and operations to promote alignment, influence informed decisions, and enhance business performance. As a trusted advisor and planning leader, use advanced analytics, AI, and business intelligence tools to drive the process, improve forecast accuracy, and identify opportunities and risks for faster, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, bringing together sales, demand, supply, finance, and long-term planning.
  • Translate business strategy into actionable plans that balance service, cost, and growth objectives.
  • Facilitate a structured monthly IBP cycle to enable proactive, data-driven decision-making.
  • Align operational execution plans with financial targets to achieve business performance goals.
  • Govern IBP standards, planning calendars, decision forums, and planning governance processes.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to foster agreement on priorities, risks, opportunities, and important business decisions.
  • Act as a reliable consultant to executives, offering consistent high-quality insights and outcomes.
  • Lead executive discussions on risks, trade-offs, assumptions, and strategic priorities.
  • Apply advanced analytics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and assess scenario-based planning options.
  • Establish and maintain a single source of truth for business planning data and performance metrics coordinated across all business functions.
  • Deliver real-time access to critical business metrics, risks, resource requirements, and trade-offs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, data quality improvements, workflow optimization, and governance improvements.
  • Lead planning transformation initiatives that advance IBP maturity, scalability, and business impact.
  • Identify and implement AI, machine learning, business intelligence, and automation solutions to improve forecasting, insights, and planning efficiency.
  • Build positive relationships across functions and executive leadership to improve sales performance, demand-supply alignment, and achievement of financial commitments.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven history facilitating effective cross-functional reviews that deliver outcomes.
  • Strong analytical outlook with experience in data analytics, scenario planning, and managing meaningful metrics.
  • Experience with planning systems (e.g., SAP, Quintiq, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and executives to drive organizational outcomes.
  • Exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $100,500–$140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
