About the role
World Wide Engineering & Innovation (WWEI) is seeking an exceptional Sr. Process Design Engineer to spearhead the development of next-generation sortation systems and processes. This pivotal role will significantly influence both design and process engineering initiatives for the North American Sort Center (NASC).
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic design initiatives for our global sortation and transportation network, focusing on developing comprehensive solutions that optimize equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layouts while protecting intellectual property.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver cost-effective innovations under tight deadlines.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
- Guide large-scale engineering projects from conception to completion, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and operational excellence.
- Communicate effectively to present strategic visions, detailed implementation roadmaps, and technical solutions to senior executives, translating complex engineering concepts into compelling business cases that drive decision-making and secure project support.
- Shape the future of our logistics infrastructure through technical leadership on large-scale projects, requiring both technical depth and strategic business acumen to deliver solutions that enhance operational capabilities while maintaining cost efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent.
- Experience designing solutions for large, high-volume sorting operations.
- Experience in management of engineering design projects.
- Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of specialty (with progressive responsibility) experience.
- Master's degree in Engineering (any domain), Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems and high-speed manufacturing.
- Experience with design-in-safety.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
- USA, FL, Plant City - 132,100.00 - 178,800.00 USD annually
- USA, TX, Irving - 132,100.00 - 178,800.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Bellevue - 132,100.00 - 178,800.00 USD annually
Schedule
This role requires 25% global travel to interface with business and technical leaders.
