About the role
The Senior Process Analyst Engineer plans and leads process improvement projects within the operations organization to reduce variation and non-conformances, ensuring customer satisfaction. This role drives enhancements to standard procedures, identifies and resolves defects, and maintains a strong commitment to process improvement and quality excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop policies, procedures, and methods to measure, evaluate, and improve the quality of products and services.
- Perform internal audits of projects to ensure adherence to fulfillment processes and procedures; provide findings and recommendations to the management team and coordinate resolution activities.
- Assume a proactive role in defect trending and analysis, implementing corrective and preventative action plans, and assessing their ongoing effectiveness.
- Ensure critical processes and procedures are current and well-documented.
- Oversee and participate in process events affecting fulfillment, including LEAN events, to ensure alignment with existing or new processes.
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvement projects.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions.
- Analyze operational processes using process maps and recommend changes to improve service quality.
- Support multiple projects, balancing priorities and resources to meet project and management expectations.
- Assist in business process improvements, re-engineering, and design to achieve business goals; support the development and implementation of business plans and initiatives.
- Coordinate reviews and updates of business processes to meet changing business needs.
- Create, update, review, and gain approval of documentation for new and existing business processes.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams to successfully execute business projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate and streamline business processes.
- Collaborate with leadership in planning, developing, and executing change initiatives across the business.
- Evaluate project plans and identify change initiatives required for successful project execution; deliver specific plans to mitigate business risks and concerns.
- Monitor complex projects and prepare cost-effective business cases.
- Support the development of training materials and technical documents.
- Create process maps and develop procedures for critical business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related field).
- 4+ years of professional experience in a quality, industrial engineering, or process improvement role.
- 3+ years of experience in business process improvement using Lean/Six Sigma.
Qualifications
- Experience with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information concisely with supporting data.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Lean certifications (e.g., Green Belt, Blue Belt, Black Belt).
