About the role
An elite international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing investment funds group. The successful candidate will play a key role advising sophisticated sponsors and institutional investors on fund structuring, formation, and lifecycle matters.
Responsibilities
- Advise established and emerging fund sponsors on fund formation and governance.
- Provide counsel to institutional investors on fund commitments, co-investments, and side letters.
- Draft and negotiate partnership agreements, offering documents, and advisory agreements.
- Guide clients on ongoing regulatory compliance and operations of private investment funds.
- Work closely with partners and clients on structuring and marketing strategies.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience advising on private fund formation and operational matters.
- Proven experience representing both GPs and LPs across fund types.
- Strong foundation in regulatory and transactional aspects of private investment funds.
- Exceptional communication, drafting, and client advisory skills.
- Strong academic credentials and bar admission in jurisdiction of practice.
- Must be a self-starter, team player, and eager to take on increasing responsibility.
