Senior Private Client Advisor
About the role
Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals. As a Senior Private Client Advisor on the Private Client Services team, you'll dive deep into client exposures and loss experiences, recommending the right products and services that fit their needs. You'll also present clients with accurate market data and provide informed advice on navigating complex risks.
Responsibilities
- Dive deep into client exposures and loss experiences to understand their current coverages
- Recommend the right products and services that fit their needs
- Present clients with accurate market data and informed advice
- Anticipate client needs and address their questions in person, over the phone, or via email
- Gather information about their risk management needs and financial loss tolerance to propose tailored solutions
- Create and present proposals to existing clients during renewals
- Conduct annual Client Advisory reviews to keep clients engaged and informed
- Deliver exceptional service to ensure client retention
- Grow the business through referrals and expanding client programs
- Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to secure comprehensive coverage options for clients, ensuring compliance with industry laws and regulations
Requirements
- 3+ years' personal lines insurance experience with High-Net-Worth clientele
- Property & Casualty (P&C) License
- Client service orientation with balance on managing expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional designations like CPCU, CIC, CPRIA, etc. (a plus)
- Previous experience with luxury carriers like AIG, Chubb, PURE (a plus)

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $66,000 to $123,100. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
Schedule
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
