Senior Principal Scientist, Lab Head, Immunomodulation / Cell Reprogramming
Main Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of scientists and cross-functional research teams, ensuring timely progression of projects from early concepts to first-in-human studies.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering scientific excellence, professional growth, and a lead-by-example culture.
Develop clear scientific strategies to support departmental goals and allocate resources to drive overall group performance.
Demonstrate innovation in research with deep understanding of clinical translation.
Apply scientific expertise to initiate, design, direct, and execute experiments while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and documentation protocols.
Keep current with developments in basic research, clinical development, and the competitive landscape.
Publish and present findings in peer-reviewed journals and scientific conferences.
About You
- Basic Qualifications: Ph.D. in Immunology, Immuno-Oncology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline
Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate research experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry
Deep knowledge in immunological mechanisms or tumor immunology
Experience in cell therapy and/or tumor microenvironment research
Hands-on experience in isolation and immune phenotyping of murine and human immune populations (e.g., cell sorting, flow cytometry), functional assessment of immune subsets (e.g., proliferation, cytotoxicity, cytokine/chemokine measurement), and murine tumor models including immune deficient and humanized mice
Familiarity with techniques for genetically modifying immune cells to express novel transgenes
Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
