About the Role
In this role you will own a core slice of the digital customer experience and set the pace for the product team. You will be hands-on as an individual contributor while raising the bar for how the team works.
- A major area of the customer journey (e.g., member & shopping experience) end to end — strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
- Coordination and prioritization across marketing, merchandising, commercial, and engineering — deciding what gets built and, just as importantly, what doesn’t.
- The delivery relationship with our external development partners — setting direction, holding quality, keeping work prioritized and moving.
- The standard for product practice — discovery, specs, prioritization, ways of working — that the rest of the team follows.
Requirements
- 7+ years in product management, including senior/principal-level ownership at an established e-commerce or DTC brand.
- Deep e-commerce fluency — operates at the customer-facing surface but understands the systems beneath (subscription, catalog, checkout, CRM).
- Experience with Shopify Liquid strongly preferred.
- Proven experience directing agencies or external dev partners.
- Strong prioritization and stakeholder management — can push back, create clarity, and align senior partners.
- Thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment; sets pace without leaning on heavy process.
- Experience working across an organization with both stakeholders as well as internal engineering and data teams.
- Mentorship experience and an excitement to work alongside other product managers and contributes to the overall direction of the team.
- Familiarity with product management best practices and processes for structuring an internal PM DTC subscription experience; familiarity with retention, loyalty, or merchandising.
