Senior. Principal Platform IAC Engineer

Responsibilities
- Leverage company and industry best practices to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IAC solutions
- Lead a small team of engineers in developing software customization and automation, including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs using Ansible Playbooks
- Lead the integration of the selected platform Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker)
- Lead the design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise or virtualized/Cloud based computing environments
- Assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solution
Requirements
- Typically requires a BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics and a minimum of 10 years of related work experience
- Experience with Integration, Cloud, Kubernetes, Containerization, Infrastructure/Platform as a Service, Linux Development, Microservices
- Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)
- Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
- A current TS/SCI Security Clearance is required on day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with application deployments to Kubernetes
- Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite, Cucumber, Eclipse, GIT
- Experience with Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
- Experience with Ansible automation frameworks
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)
- Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
- General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
- Experience with COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $132,400 - $251,600.
