Senior Principal Maintenance Trainer
Key Responsibilities
Establishes and directs a training system and/or conducts classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, according to established procedures
May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs
Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction
Provides assistance and support to all divisions in helping them determine their training needs and develop and conduct their maintenance training programs
Establishes and directs the maintenance of a training and qualification record system
Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques including the maintenance of company aircraft instruction manuals
Captures and coordinates all required technical training
Basic Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience OR a Master’s Degree and 6 years of experience
- Experience should be in training and/or maintenance
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
- Must be able to travel to various locations for initial training for a minimum of 24 weeks prior to relocating to the permanent location
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a USAF or Equivalent Mx Training Flight Basic Instructor Course or international instructor cert
- Experience with training content development principles: ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate)
