Senior Principal Low Observable Design & Analysis Engineer

You will be working on cutting-edge projects, developing next-generation materials, and integrating advanced signature control techniques into our defense systems.
This job is located in Tucson, AZ and the position is onsite.
Responsibilities
- Radar Cross Section (RCS) design, analysis, and test
- Work in integrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products and aid in the assessment of system level performance
- Proposal Writing and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
- Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Experience performing RCS measurement/testing, prediction, and/or design
- Active Secret Security Clearance required on day 1
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high temperature RCS reduction techniques
- Experience with Infrared signature analysis and reduction techniques
- Experience in Laser Cross Section reduction techniques
- Experience using industry standard computational electromagnetic (CEM) codes such as SENTRi & XPATCH
- Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership experience
- Advanced Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Top Secret security clearance

Pay
The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
