About the Role

As an industry leader in Stealth Technology, you will work on all phases of development, production, and maintenance of Low Observable (LO) weapon systems. This role involves material and process development, characterization, and system-level integration to advance next-generation signature control techniques for defense systems.

Responsibilities

  • Material formulation and development
  • Fabrication process development
  • Composites operations support
  • Material testing and characterization (RF, mechanical, physical)
  • Preparation of engineering documentation
  • Customer and supplier interface
  • Participation and leadership in program reviews
  • Project management
  • Mentorship of early-career engineers
  • Material performance predictions and measurement tests for developmental and production systems
  • Perform material measurements of constitutive and RF attenuation properties
  • Generate predicted material performance using Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM) tools
  • Work in integrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products
  • Aid in the assessment of system performance
  • Strong ownership of tasks; ability to function as Materials Lead on Integrated Product Teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Experience in Low Observables or Radar materials
  • Experience in material characterization, performance testing and/or prediction, material down-select, or integration onto air vehicles
  • Experience with customer and supplier collaboration
  • Active and existing U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required on day 1
  • U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • High-temperature LO materials characterization, testing, and integration
  • Experience with intrinsic property analytical techniques for electromagnetic characterization of materials
  • Competence in thermal analysis techniques (DMA, TMA, TGA, DSC)
  • Agile communicator with effective interaction style fostering collaboration across multi-disciplined teams, suppliers, and customers
  • Skilled at planning, prioritizing, and executing projects/programs to successful completion
  • Proposal writing and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development experience
  • CAD software proficiency and technical programming experience (Python, C++, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Experience with Infrared signature analysis and control
  • Current active U.S. Government in-scope DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP)

Pay

The salary range for this role is $132,400 – $251,600 USD.
