About the role
The Senior Principal Hardware Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing and developing enterprise-class hardware products. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams within ISG to deliver cutting-edge technologies across multiple product lines. The position involves deep system-level expertise, from architecture and hardware design to data center environments, system configurations, supply chain operations, and field serviceability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver enterprise-class hardware spanning cutting-edge technologies across multiple product lines
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within ISG
- Gain deep system-level expertise through end-to-end engagement in product development
- Work on architecture and hardware design
- Engage in data center environments, system configurations, supply chain operations, and field serviceability
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading hardware engineering projects
- Experience in designing and developing enterprise-class hardware products
- Strong understanding of hardware design principles and methodologies
- Knowledge of various engineering disciplines relevant to hardware development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in managing complex hardware projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering
- Experience with analog and digital hardware design
- Understanding of system-level hardware design and integration
- Experience in data center environments and supply chain operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
