Senior Principal Engineer - Cross Product Team Lead

About the Role

Raytheon’s Land Air Defense Systems (LADS) Engineering Execution Department is seeking a System Engineering Country Cross Product Team Lead to support a large Patriot program. This role involves system architecture definition, system and software requirements development, modeling and simulation, Raytheon Lifecycle Product Management (RLPM) design milestone activities, and customer-facing events. Additional responsibilities include proposal support and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) monthly accountability. Regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts is required, with occasional domestic and potential international travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost, schedule, and execution for a Patriot partner country.
• Develop and maintain System Architecture and Technical Baseline.
• Develop and maintain System and Software Requirements.
• Scope and provide Modeling and Simulation products.
• Lead proposal costing efforts and report progress for a Patriot partner country.
• Brief Program Management and USG customer on plans and status.
• Travel as required to meet programmatic objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and execution for technical projects.
• Experience leading or contributing to proposals, including creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and participating in leadership proposal reviews.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $132,400 – $251,600 USD. The range reflects all experience levels and considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
