Key Responsibilities
- Designing, debugging, and simulating analog/mixed-signal/RF circuits to push the capabilities of Siemens’ analog mixed-signal circuit simulation products
- Identifying high-value potential improvements and new functionality for all Siemens analog mixed-signal verification technologies
- Writing and reviewing specifications for product development projects
- Critically assessing development projects for realistic delivery timelines and value propositions
- Testing and validating new product features
- Running beta programs for major new developments and product features
- Assisting with and/or leading customer evaluations of Siemens’ analog mixed-signal verification tools
- Providing technical product support and electrical engineering support to both customers and field application engineers; working directly with customers to debug circuit design issues and identify issues in the verification/simulation tools
- Creating and reviewing high-quality technical collateral, application notes, and deployment materials
- Supporting and testing the integration of circuit simulation technology in adjacent Siemens verification products
Qualifications
- BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field (MSc preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in related roles
- Deep knowledge of electrical engineering and analog mixed-signal circuit design concepts
- Ability to debug electrical circuit and SPICE simulation issues
- Proficiency in both Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with EDA tools, specifically SPICE Circuit Simulators and Analog Design Environment tools
- Basic scripting in bash and/or cshell
- Automation tasks with scripting languages such as Python
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience creating and delivering technical training
- Proficiency in using bug and project tracking software (Jira and Confluence preferred)
- Ability to collect and analyze large amounts of data
- Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint

Pay
Competitive salary range: $154,200 - $277,600
