Senior Principal, Corporate Ventures

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the venture investment process for mid-stage startups, from sourcing to portfolio management
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align innovation efforts with corporate growth strategies
• Proactively identify and network for new investment opportunities within the tech ecosystem
• Lead definition and negotiation of partnership agreements with startups
• Conduct in-depth analyses of startups and manage investment evaluation processes
• Prepare and present investment pitches to the Ventures Investment Committee
• Oversee capital allocation and develop exit strategies for portfolio investments

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Technology, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering, plus an MBA; or Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Strategy with strong technology interest
• 12-15 years of experience in high-tech, business development, or finance
• 3+ years in Corporate Strategy, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital required
• Desired experience in business development and M&A
• Strong understanding of corporate venture capital

Pay

$184,000 – $245,500 annually
