Job Summary

The Senior Principal Consultant (Principal Lead) will generate visibility, manage progress, and provide regular updates on the status and effectiveness of organizational programs and objectives within Substation Asset Management (Electric Engineering).

The lead will engage and coordinate with internal teams and key external stakeholders to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate visibility, manage progress, and provide regular updates on the status and effectiveness of organizational programs and objectives within Substation Asset Management (Electric Engineering)
  • Engage and coordinate with internal teams and key external stakeholders to ensure success
  • Provide strong visual management, dashboarding, and data management across multiple projects
  • Demonstrate experience with process mapping, re-engineering, introducing and implementing efficiencies, and resource management
  • Manage complex projects and programs and drive them to successful completion
  • Build and develop a team through exceptional leadership and staff management

Required Skills

  • Program Management — proven experience in Portfolio, Project, or Program Management (PPM) consulting
  • Financial background — strong financial acumen relevant to business transformation
  • Organization management — experience managing organizational programs and objectives
  • Visual management and tracking/reporting on multiple projects — strong visual management, dashboarding, and data management experience
  • Proven experience and success in business development, generating strong visual management, dashboarding, facilitation, and data management
  • Demonstrated experience with process mapping, re-engineering, introducing and implementing efficiencies, resource management, and ability to manage complex projects and programs and drive them to successful completion
  • Staff management experience, including exceptional leadership skills with ability to build a team and develop the individuals on that team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Skills

  • PMP strongly preferred

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required (engineering, business, or accounting)
  • Master's degree strongly preferred

Required Experience

  • Minimum nine years of experience in a client-oriented business consulting / professional services role, specifically related to business transformation or Portfolio, Project, or Program Management (PPM) consulting
