Senior Principal, Business Consulting - Telecom

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Principal, Business Consulting - Telecom to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This remote role will lead high-impact consulting engagements across telecom operations, bringing together business process expertise, operational insight, and technology enablement. The position will work closely with client stakeholders in network operations, IT service management, and wireless IT to shape practical solutions that improve service delivery and operational performance. It also supports the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities and the development of clear business requirements, process documentation, and use cases for complex telecom environments. The role requires strong client-facing communication and the ability to align technical platforms, operational data, and business priorities in a consulting setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site engagements with NOC, ITSM, and wireless IT teams.
• Support implementation of AI-driven capabilities such as predictive intelligence and event intelligence.
• Facilitate service modeling and validate CMDB and topology data alignment.
• Assist in developing business process documentation and use cases for telecom operations.
• Collaborate with client and internal stakeholders on sales pursuits and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Telecom, or IT Engineering required.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in operational technologies within the communications sector.
• At least 3 years of experience with CSP provider platforms using MS Dynamics, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle, or SAP.
• Experience with business process development and system use case creation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with client-facing experience.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $210,000 – $256,667 annually
