Job Summary
This position is a senior principal level architect position who will report directly to the Director of Software Architecture, Clinical Development & Innovation. This candidate will have strong experience in software architecture and public cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong development background as well as design and development experience.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software patterns, software modeling, secure programming principles, test-driven development or another unit testing methodology, and code standards compliance.
- History of technical leadership in small to medium multi-role teams.
- Collaborates with product managers and designers to ensure feasibility of product direction.
- Architects and designs robust, secure data integrations with other HCA or vendor systems.
- Provides technical leadership in large-scale development projects involving multiple areas outside of core team.
- Willingness to mentor developers in software development and architectural practices.
- Provides leadership in the deployment, change, configuration, management, administration and maintenance of deployment process and systems.
- Focuses on customer satisfaction.
- Rapidly prototypes and delivers just-in-time solutions.
- Works in an environment with rapidly changing business requirements and priorities.
- Demonstrates deep understanding of value-based decision making and Agile principles across teams.
- Shares knowledge and experience to contribute to growth of overall team capabilities.
Other/Special Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Experience with Microservice architectures preferred.
- Experience with iOS and Android mobile development platforms preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD code and infrastructure pipeline deployment strongly preferred.
