About the role

Vestcom, an Avery Dennison company, is the industry leader in technology-driven shelf-edge retail solutions. We are seeking a Flexographic Press Operator to lead press setup, operation, and quality control. In this role, you will own machine performance, monitor print accuracy, and perform preventive maintenance to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Set up, align, and operate flexographic presses, plates, cylinders, and dies according to job specifications.
• Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and defects using precise test methods to ensure high-quality standards.
• Blend inks and varnishes, measure viscosity, load raw materials, and maintain optimal press operating speeds.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, clean components, and troubleshoot mechanical issues to maximize uptime.
• Follow SOPs, maintain a safe production environment, and record daily time and material usage in the management system.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of flexographic printing or machine operation experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and basic math proficiency.
• Ability to work independently, follow standard operating procedures, and collaborate with team members.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
