Senior Preconstruction Manager

We are partnering with a leading build and construction investor developer in NYC to attract an experienced Senior Preconstruction Manager for their New York team.

About the role

As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will lead and manage build and construction projects across New York City, primarily in the commercial sector—including high-end office space, hotels & hospitality, and retail. The firm is also exploring opportunities in the datacentre and industrials markets.

You will provide end-to-end preconstruction services and advice, from early design through final sign-off, offering expertise on feasibility, cost estimates, and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for commercial construction projects, including high-end office, hospitality, retail, and emerging datacentre/industrial work.
• Provide feasibility analysis, cost estimates, and value-engineering recommendations from early design to project completion.
• Act as the lead on bids and pricing proposals.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Deliver strong presentations and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Relevant construction-focused degree or Master’s.
• Proven preconstruction experience in the commercial build and construction market.
• Experience leading bids and preparing pricing proposals.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring or developing others.

Pay

Competitive salary in the range of $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
